Imagination and Beyond ...

Imagination !!!!

Imagination, also called the faculty of imagining, is the ability of forming mental images, sensations and concepts, in a moment when they are not perceived through sight, hearing or other senses. Imagination is the work of the mind that helps develop. Imagination helps provide meaning to experience and understanding to knowledge; it is a fundamental facility through which people make sense of the world, and it also plays a key role in the learning process. A basic training for imagination is listening to storytelling (narrative), in which the exactness of the chosen words is the fundamental factor to "evoke worlds."

It is accepted as the innate ability and process of inventing partial or complete personal realms within the mind from elements derived from sense perceptions of the shared world. The term is technically used in psychology for the process of reviving in the mind, percepts of objects formerly given in sense perception. Since this use of the term conflicts with that of ordinary language, some psychologists have preferred to describe this process as "imaging" or "imagery" or to speak of it as "reproductive" as opposed to "productive" or "constructive" imagination. Imagined images are seen with the "mind's eye."

Imagination can also be expressed through stories such as fairy tales or fantasies. Most famous inventions or entertainment products were developed from the inspiration of someone's imagination.

Children often use narratives or pretend play in order to exercise their imagination. When children develop fantasy they play at two levels: first, they use role playing to act out what they have developed with their imagination, and at the second level they play again with their make-believe situation by acting as if what they have developed is an actual reality that already exists in narrative myth.

What is imagination?

Imagination is…

Being aware of the Infinite, and of all of its myriad possibilities…

Exploring them one by one, until you have a “click”

Until you connect with a sense of awe to a Possible Reality

With an expanded sense that there is so much more

That you belong to Everything there Is.

That everything is possible

That Is, is nothing but what you have yet to think

That “possible” is just what you have not yet lived.

That the Mind can wonder beyond yonder.

It’s the Mind that is usually on a different page

That the Map of Life is following one’s path

But, Life is not the Map;

it is one’s path that one must venture into.

It is in “Imagining” that one is “Alive”

That you become the “You” that you are about to be.

That is the instant that you are the God-You.

That you connect to the Divine.

That is the Gift that one is alive for.

For exploring realities that your imagination takes you to

You are a “Mind Traveler”, the explorer of the Infinite

Isn’t the Infinite Possibilities really Real?

And all you have to do is I-m-a-g-i-n-e…..

And don’t you ever, ever stop!!!!!!!

'Few people have the imagination for Reality.' -

— Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

'I change many things, discard others, and try again and again until I am satisfied; then, in my head, I being to elaborate the work in its breadth, its narrowness, its height, its depth...I hear and see the image in front of me from every angle as if it had been cast and only the labour of writing it down remains.' -

— Ludwig van Beethoven

Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.' -

— Albert Einstein

'The history of scientific and technical discovery teaches us that the human race is poor in independent and creative imagination.'

Logic will get you from A to B, Imagination will take you everywhere.' -
